No matter how we managed to get through the day, we managed. I've been through 10 mothers' days without one of my children being here- see that "one" means I have other children, and that's how I get through the day. My children have been my support, inspiration, and reason to heal.

Here I am 10 years later, facilitating a mother's support group. I hope that my recovery will bring hope to the mothers in the group. Our stories are all different, but our pain is the same. We are mothers who have lost a child.
